M.Nagappa & Sons is a family of “savoury snacks” makers for generations. The company was founded in the early 50s by Late Shri Nagappa who was himself a MASTER in making tasty savoury snacks with traditional touch.
Late Shri Nagappa began in a humble manner and with the help of his wife used to make a few savoury snacks and then used to carry them on his bicycle and sell the products in his neighbourhood. His “Ompudi” “Avalakki Mixture” and “Masala Nuts” became so popular that he had to keep moving to new locations to produce more for the increasing demand.
The company is currently managed by Shri Nagappa’s son N. Manjunath. Manjunath is a technocrat businessman and with a penchant for engineering designs and builds most of their own equipment including fryers to produce more while keeping the traditional taste intact. He is now ably assisted by his son Amog Manjunath thus heralding the arrival of the 3rd generation person from the family into the business..
The company can produce more than 3 tons per day and now has more than 30 varieties of savoury snacks in its ever-growing portfolio of products.
